I was asked the same question again the other day ... why do you freedive ?
Why not...was the short answer but there is a much longer one that needs a Greek espresso freddo metrio to go with it.
Next time you ask me that question be more prepared 😉

Making yourself small is always a good way to become more respectful of life. But don't think for a moment because I am small I am not built for big things 💙

We can never progress alone, we need the knowledge, patience and help of others. But like this photo, alone is how i prefer to be a lot of the time. Getting in the -50s again, not much for some but a lot for others. Today is enough for me and many thanks to @onebreathfreediving and my coach @dimitriskoumoulos for showing me the way. Thanks to my buddy @freeflowgr for the safety, support and laughs and my boy @arishutton for not freaking out when i take too long.

life is better without a filter.
Raw and real with a pair of flip flops in your hands and the sun setting behind you. Do I need a filter ? Does the sunset need a filter... perhaps yes for your insta but not on my feed 😊

"The eye of the sea"
Was given to me today as a gift by an old fisherman after I picked up his diving masks he lost, from the bottom of the sea.
💙
The operculum of the shell called 'Rough Turbo', found on the Mediterranean shores, symbolizes the eyes of mother Mary, the colour of the sunrise and the sunset. Wearing one is said to keep the evil eye away and favour luck, is collected most of the time by professional fishermen who gather them in their fishing nets.
💙
I feel a new lucky charm necklace coming right up.
